National Association of Christian Ministers

Answering His Call to Advance the Gospel and Unite the Body of Christ.

Our Philosophy of Ministry as Evangelical Protestants

We, the National Association of Christian Ministers believe that Jesus is the Head of the Church:

Christ is the head of the church. It is his body, and he is its Savior? (Eph 5:23, GW).

While the church has been called many things: believers, buildings, Baptists, Methodists, Pentecostals, denominations, etc., all of these describe the global church in one way or another. However, we believe that Jesus must be the final authority and ruler of His people.

As Evangelicals, we naturally hold high regards for the authority of scripture and the advancement of the Gospel.

As Evangelical Protestants, we firmly uphold the Doctrine of the Priesthood of All Believers. It follows that God has called believers to ministry, and these ministers should know the vision that He has given them for ministry -better than anyone else.

For these reasons, all NACM affiliates (members, ministers, elders, etc.) are given the sovereignty of independence to practice as ministers who represent Jesus Christ.  The quality of being "independent" allows affiliates the freedom to be governed by the direction and authority of the Holy Spirit, instead of the NACM.
